Jim Sefcik

Jim Sefcik retired as Director of the Louisiana State Museum system in 2004 following management positions at the NY State Museum, the Chrysler Museum, and the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. He taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Early America in Pennsylvania, New Orleans, and New York. He has also offered classes in ALL programs in New York and on the Cape since 2009.

​He received his Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and his Master’s from Temple University. He is ABD from Notre Dame.
