Winter Art Excursion with Artists Joe Diggs and Grace Hopkins
Joe Diggs and Grace Hopkins
7AM - 7 PM, departing Harwich Park and Ride
Friday, January 24th, 2025
We will travel by coach from Harwich Park and Ride to the Edwards Gallery at the Holderness School in NH to visit with the Cape Cod painter, Joe Diggs, and to see his solo exhibition. Joe will give an artist talk and join us for lunch after visiting the exhibition.
We will then reboard the bus and travel to the Currier Museum in Manchester, NH. Grace and Joe will give a tour and discussion of the exhibition “Jean-Michel Basquiat and Ouattara Watts: A Distant Conversation.” There will also be time to explore the museum on your own. This museum has two Frank Lloyd Wright houses as well, but they are closed for the winter.
This will be a fun packed day of art and discussion, and we will get you back home in time for dinner!
There will be a Zoom meeting on January 14th at 4PM to discuss details before the trip, with Zoom link to be sent the day before. Note that the bus is equipped with bathroom.
