Morgan Henderson

Picture
Morgan Henderson, a washashore from western New York, recently graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a major in English and a minor in Creative Writing.  She fell in love with the Cape during an internship with longtime Open University of Wellfleet teacher Bill Burke at the Cape Cod National Seashore, where she led literary walks to sites evoked by important writers such as Mary Oliver, another washashore. She especially enjoys music, art and the dunes, shorelines and marshes of the Cape. Determined to build a life on the Cape, she has filled multiple jobs as a bartender and server and have gotten to know many of its inhabitants. She is looking forward to learning more about the Cape’s natural environment, as well, by working closely with Bob Prescott on this Open University of Wellfleet course.
