FAQs Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen I register, it says the product has been shipped should I expect something in my "snail" mail?
No, this is how our software phrases it. If it says product has been shipped, it is a confirmation that you have signed up and and paid for the course. You will not receive anything from us in your "snail" mail. How many people will participate in each course? Classes will be held with a minimum of eight people and a maximum of twenty three. The instructor may choose to run a class with fewer or more than the number mentioned. Are there refreshments? Each course leader will decide whether refreshments are appropriate, depending on the time of day. He or she may ask for volunteer contributions, as well. Is off street parking available? There is easy off-street parking at each of our locations. There are two parking lots just across the street from Preservation Hall and there are also lots adjacent to the Wellfleet Library. What is your policy for class cancellation by an instructor? If a class must be cancelled due to sickness or some other unusual circumstance, the instructor will make every effort to re-schedule the class at a time convenient to the participants. What is your policy regarding tuition refunds? Tuition payment minus a 20% administrative charge will be returned if a participant withdraws from a class after its first meeting. Payment will not otherwise be subject to refund. Will I be required to do the assignments? No, but doing the assignments will enhance your learning experience. If I am handicapped, can I attend a course that is not handicapped accessible? In some cases some classes in a course are not handicapped accessible and there might be some flexibility in attendance. Check with the course instructor through the contact page for questions. What happens if there are not enough people in the course I registered for? If the course is cancelled, you will be given the opportunity to go to another course or you will get a refund. When is the deadline to sign up for a class? In most courses, the day before the class starts, check the sign up for course information. |
